Our Story
The Craft Microbiome journey started after reading a publication in "Science. Feb,2016". The article described how famine victims are unable to absorb nutrients like those of the first world. But, these victims can regain healthy growth patterns though a specific microbiome supplement. After digesting this, we were overwhelmed, and conceptualized the idea that one's physical attributes are not permanent, but are transferable. After Anders completed his Fellowship in Genetics with Harvard Medical School, we launched Craft Microbiome.
Our first successful enterprise occurred in 2018 when we contacted a local farmer who couldn’t raise livestock to the proper weight. We assisted the farmer by isolating performance bacterial strains, hygienically growing large quantities, and processing the growth-inducing bacteria for the malnourished livestock. With his livestock taking these hand-selected Craft Microbiome performance probiotics daily, the farmer saw his livestock increase significant weight with less food consumption. The farmer was able to see his livestock reduce necessary feed by 400kg per week while seeing the his livestock weight increase 25%!
These findings opened our eyes around the positive impact performance probiotics can provide not only to livestock, but to humans around the world. Our end to end processing of probiotic strain isolation to consumable capsules allows you to receive the full performance experience.
